Vicar Aaron was born in Kalispell, Montana and raised at Camp Luther near Schuyler, Nebraska, where his father served as camp director.  After graduating from Lutheran High School in Springfield, Illinois he attended Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana.  

Upon completion of his undergraduate studies in 2012 he enrolled in the M.Div. program at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri.  

In addition to his service alongside the people of Immanuel, part of Vicar Aaron’s internship is carried out with the Lutheran Mission Society, leading chapel services every Wednesday at LMS’s Fells Point Compassion Center and every Saturday at Immanuel’s Compassion Center.
